Most were killed as soon as practical after arrival. The others had to work, often 11 hours a day, 6 days a week, on grossly inadequate food.

Jews were forced to work. Basically it was just a drag before death. Jews were treated unfair, and wanted to die. Jews were tortured by everyone under hitlers powers. Even the "camp doctors", were torturing them.

Concentration camps were absolutely horrible.

They tried to survive if they had not been exterminated. It was hard because most died from disease, starvation, dehydration, and exposure. The people in the labor camps did war work to the point of exhaustion and often death.
