Haha, my friend, Marie Curie is dead. She was a famous scientist, and discovered radioacivity.

(Correction, she did not discover radioactivity, she simply was the first person to use the term to describe such a peculiar event taking place inside the atom, emitting radiation. Bravo, you tried, and failed.)

Marie Curie was a scientist. As a student, her her research project was the measurement of the magnetic properties of various steel alloys (metal mixtures).

In 1897 Marie Curie and her husband, Pierre Curie, turned their attention to the mysterious radiation from uranium recently discovered by Antoine Henri Becquerel. Marie thought that radiation had atomic properties so was present in other elements. Marie and Pierre discovered two new elements, polonium and radium. They also found that diseased, tumor forming cells were destroyed faster than healthy cells when exposed to radium.

After her husband's death in 1906, Marie Curie continued to work with radium and radiation and promoted the use of radiation to alleviate suffering.
