There were 8 major holidays a year. The largest and biggest was Christ Mass ( this became Christmas) and mainly consisted of 4 masses in the day with a big dinner. Easter was also celebrated with masses. More minor would be May Day, All Saints Day and others. Usually each holiday had its share of masses and then a dinner.
