Isis was the Goddess of Fertility and the husband of Osiris. Without Isis, there would be no Osiris, so no Osiris, No Agriculture, No getting into the Underworld, you know, the things they care about.
If the Egyptians pleased the gods, they believed Egypt would prosper and that they would have a peaceful afterlife. If they, however, did not please the gods, Egypt would not prosper and in the afterlife, Osiris would not look kindly upon them and they will have a chaotic afterlife. Hope this helps!

Maat would weigh your heart in the underworld. You also had to have a preserved body and your name had to be written down. Once you were judged by Maat, Osiris would let you in to the Land of Two Fields. Here you would have eternal happiness.

The living King personified Horus, the falcon, god of the sky, war and protection.Upon his death, the King would become Osiris, the god of the underworld and death.
The ancient Egyptians believed that if the heart was heavier than the feather, that means the person has done a great amount of sins, so Osiris, the god of the dead, would then punish the person severely. the punishments could be anything. The heart is lighter or the same weight as the feather, they would have to do some '"tests", and if they passed, Osiris would grant them a place in heaven, which is the afterlife.
