First off, the Egyptians did not have pillows. They had these crescent shaped headrests that were at the end of the bed (think the headrests in Memoirs of a Geisha). The beds themselves were at an incline and had a footboard to keep them from sliding off in the night (though to be honest, the incline wasn't that bad, they were just short), and the legs of the bed were tipped with animal feet. Some of them were even made with side rails.

Their tables and Nightstands were always low to the ground, and often they had vases on pedestals. The furniture itself was made of imported wood (the native wood is far too knotty and weak for furniture), and scenes of nature were inlaid into the wood, the wealthier homes having gold on it as well.

The mattresses were made of wood slats held together with reeds and such, and covered with wool cushions and linen. The headrests may have been covered in padding as well, but that's still up in the air.

The Egyptians did have bathrooms, but they either bathed in the Nile or, if wealthy enough, stood on a big slab of stone in the middle of their bathroom while a body servant poured water over them. And as water was such a precious resource in the desert, the wasted water went through drains in the floor to water the gardens outside.

Sorry if there are any spelling mistakes, I'm on my cell phone. Hope this helps!
