The way this question was written it seems a question about the time that Jesus was alive and if this is the case there were no Christians when he was alive. All of his followers ( including him) were Jewish and it will be several centuries before there are "Christians."
The book of the Acts of the Apostles contains a line that says, "...And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. (Acts 11:26) Some knowledgable authorities believe the book was written between 62 and 64 AD. That means that rather than centuries after Jesus, there were people called Christians in as few as three decades after him, possibly less.
From the teachings of Jesus.
Christians are People that claim to follow the teachings of Jesus christ.
Christians...
Yes you can say that as Christians follow his teachings .

Christian Anarchists follow Jesus' teachings, there are a few others as well but I can't think of them off the top of my head. However, Jesus was not a commander, dictator or strict parent and so did not demand that people "obeyed" him. Rather people chose to follow Jesus if they believed in his teachings.
Jesus Christ .
They believe that any violence for any reason is wrong, just as Jesus taught. Most people who call themselves Christians do not follow Jesus' teachings in this regard.
There were no Christians in the time of Jesus. He was the begining of the Christian movement.
