The same as what it is now
In the seventeenth century, Spain, France, and the Dutch Republic were significant rivals of the British due to their colonial ambitions and trade competition. However, a country like Sweden was not considered a main rival during this time. While Sweden had its own interests in the Baltic region, it did not pose a major challenge to British dominance in global trade and colonial expansion.
The sudden growth of the slave trade in the seventeenth century had negative effects on Africa, as it led to the disruption of societies, loss of labor force, and increased violence. In Europe, it fueled economic growth and contributed to the development of colonial powers. Before the seventeenth century, African culture was diverse and rich, with vibrant trade networks, complex social structures, and varied artistic expressions.
This is what the flag looked like then. It changed sometime around the early 1500's
I'm pretty sure it was a knife or something dangerous like that!?

The flag of The Netherlands has a red top, white center, bottom blue.
Most of the governments in mainland Europe (and much of the rest of the world) were absolutist, so it is hard to say which was the "most absolutist". It would be like asking which type of cheesecake was the "cheesecake-iest". France was certainly the standard-bearer of absolutism during the Reign of Louis XIV in the 17th century, but the Prussian, Austrian, Russian, and Ottoman governments were no less absolutist than was France.
none ok
Spain controlled territory in Europe (including parts of Italy and the Netherlands), the Americas (such as present-day Mexico and Peru), Africa (like territories in Northern Africa), and Asia (including the Philippines).

By the middle of the seventeenth century, various musical instruments were available in New England, including violins, flutes, and various types of drums. String instruments like the fiddle were popular for folk music, while woodwinds like flutes were also present. Additionally, the use of keyboard instruments like the harpsichord began to emerge as settlers brought their musical traditions from Europe.
1603 is in the seventeenth century. (You might think it should be in the 16th, but the 1600's are in the 17th century is because there was no zero-th century. The first century ran from year 1 to 100. years 101 through 199 are in the second century; years 201 to 299 are in the third century, etc. People like to argue about what century 100,200,300,.. 1600 are in.
