Some people have tried to link the play Macbeth to the Gunpowder Plot. It is true that the reference to an "equivocator" in the Porter's speech is almost certainly a reference to Henry Garnet, a Jesuit priest who was executed as part of the Gunpowder Plot, and who wrote a famous treatise on "equivocation", saying that it was ok to say something which was literally true but implied something false. This would have been a hot topical item at the time the play was written, after 1605.
The short answer is that there was no "Catholic" plot to kill King James 1. It is no more correct to say this than it is to say that "Episcopals assassinated President Lincoln" (John Wilkes Booth was Episcopalian) The longer answer is that the assassination plot was due to (real or imagined) persecution. On November 5, 1605, a small group of fanatic Catholics in England led by Guy Fawkes planned to blow up the House of Parliament, killing the assembled leadership and assassinating King James I. When it had become clear that King James was not to grant Catholics any relief from the persecution of his predecessor, Queen Elizabeth I.
Robert Catesby was the leader of the gun powder plot. Many people say that Guido Fawkes (Guy fawkes) was the leader but he was hired to light the fuse by Robert Catesby and his followers. If you want more information on the gunpowder plot of 1605, take a look at the link below:

It is not possible to say who first invented gunpowder. It was certainly used by the Chinese long before the west

Short answer: NO. No matter what they say. It may have a similar plot synopsis, it may have the same voice actors, but dinosaur king is an entirely different and (in my opinion) better anime/manga/game than pokemon.
You can say "expose the plot" to convey the idea of revealing or uncovering the plot of a story or movie.
It doesn't say.
