i was the one who put this question anyway! :p
Nothing at all happened in the Santa Barbara Mission.
not at all
Santa Barbara had 3 missions built and all them were destroyed and the third one was destoryed by an earthquake in 1812
bells and the cross at the top of the bell tower
here is all the Arcitecture in mission Santa Barbara .church were they learn about the padre's god .fountain where they use to do their laundry .storage room were they stored things .statues that were built by very good Sculpters like Jose Antonio Ramirez who built the fountain .muesuems were the priests live and they will give you tours and they will teach about the mission history So,that is all the Architecture in mission Santa Barbara
Mission Santa Barbara is the only mission with 2 bell towers in California. It has 8 bells in each tower (16 bells in all). There is a cross on top of both bell towers and 1 in the middle of them.
If you go to a crafts store, like Michael's, they sell kits to build the missions. You may also be able to find information on the internet about building Santa Barbara Mission. All the missions have websites. Check there for information on school projects.
It is a pretty mission, but I wouldn't say it is different. All 21 missions look pretty much the same.
It use tools that bought from Mexico and Spain
Because people would have gotten all confused if they'd put it in Santa Barbara. Anyway, the question has it exactly backwards. The Spanish missionaries were setting up a chain of missions a day's travel apart (along, or at least close to, what is today the route of El Camino Real). They didn't put the Santa Clara mission in Santa Clara... they put the Santa Clara mission near an existing native American settlement, and the city grew up around it and took its name from the mission.
one of the most unique characteristics of this mission
I don't know says Megan!! No, not really, like all the other Native American at the other missions.
