The Clash was part of the first wave of British punk and incorporated many different styles of music, including reggae, funk, and rockabilly. The Clash's political lyrics and rebellious attitude and style have had a great influence on bands for decades now. Joe Strummer is also considered by many to be one of the punk rock best singers of all time.
