The third plane crashed into the Pentagon. However news coverage of the Pentagon wasn't as heavy as the media coverage of the Twin Towers, for obvious secret national defence reasons.
A fourth plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. The plane was believed to have been headed for the White House in Washington DC. It is currently unknown why the plane crashed. Some believe the passengers tried to re-take the plane and lost control, some believe the terrorists lost control themselves, while some conspiracy theorists believe it was shot down by the USAF.
