Work started at sunrise for all. First there was morning mass and then breakfast. The noble would look after the business of his estates and settle disputes. While the peasant would work the fields, take care of the animals, and do what was needed for the crops. Mid afternoon would have mass and a small lunch. After the lunch the noble would have weapons practice, hunt, hawk, or play games. The peasants kept working. The evening would begin with evening mass and dinner. This was done early since morning came early and the day started over.
