The Vikings used a combination of metal and leather layers, combined with a wooden or metal shield
They prefered to use axes for their primary weapon
In emergencies, sure, but they had access to Iron so used metal weapons and armor.
They look like Vikings : armor and axes, and helmets with horns. The Vikings in Poptropica are at 831 AD on Time Tangled island.
ANSWERThe Vikings used Swords, Axes, Spears, Bows and the armor is chain mail (mail) and wooden shields. For the most part, they used spears since they were cheap and provided a tactical advantage with its length. Only the rich could afford armor or weapons made out of metal. And no, they did not have horns on their helmets.
they could make all this armor, swords, boats and houses.
Vikings often used the fur of animals like bears, wolves, and seals for armor. The thick and durable nature of these furs provided some insulation and protection during battles. Additionally, they might have layered the fur with leather or other materials to enhance its effectiveness. However, fur armor was more commonly used for warmth and mobility rather than as a primary form of protection against weapons.
They are famous for their armor.
Vikings tended to wear Chainmail Armor and often carred a large wooden shieldFor the most part, very little. Iron was expensive. The common image of a viking decked out in armor with a huge sword and axe is quite wrong. If they had a metal helmet they were lucky. Usually they just wore furs and leather, armed with a spear (deadly weapon that uses very little Iron), and a wooden shield. The types of metal armor that -was- available at the time included studded leather, ringmail and chianmail. Only princes were able to afford those, though.
the vikings used longships :)
Chainmail was the first effective use of armor.
the guy was wearing the armor in the war
No they did not have or use cannons
That would depend on what purpose you use it for. Tier 10 armor is for PvE and Season 8 armor is for PvP. If you use PvE armor in PvP you will die very quickly, and if you use PvP armor in raids you will not be very effective. Stick to the armor type that matches the content you play in. If you "cross-dress" armor, consider it one season or tier lower for easy math. For instance, T10 armor would be about equivalent to Season 7 armor in PvP.
