In England, we take a Graded Certificate of Secondary Education in subjects of our choice at around the ages of 15-16. The results are your grades in the subjects which range from A* (which is the highest) to U (which is the lowest)

GCSE results here in England are released on the 24th of August this year.
It means the piece is not in a key.
Will result in not being allowed to continue in the exam, and that will class as a fail and result in you doing a re take if the school will take you.
They mean how many marks you got on the exam paper, overall.
25th of August, GCSE results are always the last Thursday of august :)
in the UK the standard school leavers exam, usually taken around age 16. test year taken SAT 3 & 6 GCSE 11 A Level(optional) 12/13
They only effect they have on real GCSE's are that they are the basis on which your GCSE results are predicted.
