Carbon dioxide is at room temperature a gas; a gas can be liquefied to obtain the liquid form. It is possible also to obtain a gas in solid form (at very low temperatures) and the carbon dioxide is not an exception.

β 15y agoCarbon dioxide (CO2) is a gas composed of one carbon atom bonded to two oxygen atoms, while water (H2O) is a liquid composed of two hydrogen atoms bonded to one oxygen atom. Their physical states, chemical compositions, and properties differ significantly, with CO2 being a gas at room temperature and H2O being a liquid. Additionally, they play different roles in the environment and biological processes.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O) can react to form an equilibrium state between these reactants and their product of carbonic acid (H2CO3). The simple reaction is H2O + CO2 <---> H2CO3.
The enzyme carbonic anhydrase catalyzes the reaction between CO2 and H2O, forming carbonic acid (H2CO3).
The balanced equation for the reaction of C6H12O6 with O2 to form CO2 and H2O is: C6H12O6 + 6 O2 -> 6 CO2 + 6 H2O

The balanced equation for the combustion of C2H4 with O2 to form CO2 and H2O is: C2H4 + 3O2 -> 2CO2 + 2H2O.
No, the chemical reaction between CO2 and H2O does not involve combustion. Combustion is a chemical reaction between a fuel and an oxidant, typically oxygen, resulting in the release of heat and light. The reaction between CO2 and H2O may involve formation of carbonic acid (H2CO3) under specific conditions.

You wouldnt get an oxide. You would get a salt, CO2 and H2O. E.g. CaCO3 + 2HCl ---> CO2 + H2O + CaCl2
The reaction between sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) and nitric acid (HNO3) produces carbon dioxide (CO2), water (H2O), sodium nitrate (NaNO3), and some nitrogen oxides as byproducts.
It forms from co2 the h2o in the ozone combines with co2 and h2o to create ion and that is used in dooms day weapons It forms from co2 the h2o in the ozone combines with co2 and h2o to create ion and that is used in dooms day weapons
The balanced equation for the reaction between ammonia (NH3) and carbon dioxide (CO2) to form urea (NH2CONH2) and water (H2O) is: 2 NH3 + CO2 -> NH2CONH2 + H2O

When carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O) mix, they can undergo a chemical reaction to produce carbonic acid (H2CO3). This reaction is important in natural processes such as the dissolution of CO2 in seawater, which helps regulate the Earth's climate.
The balanced equation for the reaction between HNO3 and NaHCO3 is: 2 HNO3 + NaHCO3 β NaNO3 + H2O + CO2
The chemical equation for the reaction between sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4) is: Na2CO3 + H2SO4 -> Na2SO4 + H2O + CO2
