Of the 17 species of penguins, there are only fourspecies which live at Antarctica: Adelie, Emperor, Chinstrapand Gentoo penguins. The Antarctic is not their only range.

Penguins are sea birds and they live in the seas. However, during breeding season, you can find Adelie, Emperor, Chinstrap, and Gentoo penguins on Antarctica's beaches. They breed there because there are no land predators.
