A sociopath differs from others in the same way animals differ from humans. They lack empathy and sympathy. A sociopath is unable to understand another beings suffering, happiness, loneliness, pain, joy, etc. They don't have a conscious so to speak. They see all others as mere means to an end or simply toys in the game of life.
They can't experience love because they care solely for themselves and are almost as non-human as animals.
