Slave New World was created in 1992.
the new world is the world that Columbus discovered for the Europeans. If it was not for the new world the slave trade could have easily died out.
It is estimated that between 12 to 15 million Africans were forcibly transported to the New World during the transatlantic slave trade, with mortality rates during the Middle Passage ranging from 15% to 25%. This means that approximately 1.8 to 3.75 million Africans may have died during the journey due to disease, malnutrition, and harsh conditions aboard slave ships. The exact numbers are difficult to determine due to incomplete historical records.
Yellow fever is presently endemic to tropical and subtropical areas in South America and Africa (both old and new worlds). However, the origin of the disease is most likely to be Africa, from where it was introduced to South America through the slave trade in the 16th century. It is therefore an Old World disease.
Middle Passage was the name of the slaves journey from Africa to the colonies of the new world.
The journey of Africans who were brought as slaves to the Americas is known as the Transatlantic Slave Trade. This was a brutal and inhumane system where millions of Africans were forcibly taken from their homelands and transported across the Atlantic Ocean to be sold as slaves in the New World.
