You can use buttons in Excel for many things. You can create them and attach commands to them, so that users can click on a button to make something happen, like changing values. Buttons can be used to do almost anything that Excel is capable of, enabling you to create a more user-friendly system.
There are three buttons. The X button allows you to abandon what you are doing. The tick button will enter what you are doing, just like pressing the Enter key does. The fx button opens the Insert function dialog box so you can find a function you want to use.
Whatever is in the active cell, be that a formula or a value, will show in the Formula bar. It is sometimes referred to as showing the cell contents. They will always be shown without any formatting that may have been applied to the cell.
Just hide the Formula Bar.

It is shown in the Name Box, which is at the start of the Formula Bar.
It is usually there unless you have hidden it through the View options. The Cancel and Enter buttons on it only appear on the formula bar when you start to type into a cell.
Like many programs Microsoft Excel financial spreadsheet application can be customised. The menu bar can be changed by adding and removing buttons and galleries to the menu bar it self and the functions that can be called from the menu bar
As Excel starts you will see the words Microsoft Excel in the title bar. After a few seconds the first worksheet will appear and then in the title bar a hyphen and Book1 will also appear beside Microsoft Excel. So what you will see is this: Microsoft Excel - Book1
You may mean the formula bar. It is at the top of the spreadsheet, immediately above the column heading letters. If you can not see the formula bar, go to the View menu and click the Formula bar option.
In Microsoft Excel, text can be entered directly into a cell and in the formula bar. Whichever you enter it into, it will show in both as you enter it, so it cannot be in one and not the other. The formula bar shows the content of the active cell, so naturally as you type it will appear in both.
