Too many variables to factor in here. The velocity it impacted at - that varies by range, density of the area it hits at (did it hit bone, did it hit soft tissue?), the type of projectile (wadcutter, ball, jacketed hollow point, etc)... all of that factors into it.
Over two miles
Unimpeded, a .22LR caliber bullet can travel up to 2000 yards. Its effective distance is, of course, much shorter than that.
A bullet from a handgun can travel, on average, about a mile.
The distance a bullet will travel is dependent upon many factors. The three greatest factors in determining the distance a bullet will travel are caliber of the bullet, the weight of the bullet, and the trajectory used when firing the weapon. Many ammunition manufacturers provide "maximum" distances on the individual packages of each type of bullet.
how far does 380 bullet travel
About 3,400 yards.
as far as it wants
About 3,400 yards.
@ 3 miles
From competitive shooting experience the longest distance is 200 yds with a .22 Long Rifle cartridge.
If you mean "farther" yes, generally speaking, a .22 will travel further than a .45. The .45 is a much heavier bullet and loses velocity at a faster rate.
When fired from a .303 rifle, it can travel ABOUT 2.5 miles.
