During breathing air enters the nose by passing through the external nares( nostrils)=> pharynx=>larynx=> trachea=> The trachea (windpipe) divides into two main bronchi (also mainstem bronchi), the left main bronchus and right main bronchus. The right main bronchus subdivides into three lobar bronchi while the left main bronchus divides into two. The lobar bronchi divide into => tertiary bronchi, also known as segmental bronchi, each of which supplies a => bronchopulmonary segment. A bronchopulmonary segment is a division of a lung that is separated from the rest of the lung by a connective tissue septum.. There are ten segments per lung, but due to anatomic development, several segmental bronchi in the left lung fuse, giving rise to eight. The segmental bronchi divide into many => primary bronchioles which divide into =>terminal bronchioles, each of which then gives rise to several => respiratory bronchioles, which go on to divide into 2 to 11 => alveolar ducts. There are 5 or 6 =>alveolar sacs associated with each alveolar duct. The alveolus is the basic anatomical unit of gas exchange in the lung.

Passages through which air enters the lungs is called the bronchi which branch off of the trachea.
Air enters the nasal cavities through the nostrils and is filtered, moistened, and warmed before passing through the pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, and bronchioles. Finally, the air reaches the alveoli in the lungs where gas exchange occurs, with oxygen diffusing into the bloodstream and carbon dioxide diffusing out.
The trachea, also known as the "windpipe," is the largest tube of the respiratory system. In the adult human it is approximately 5 inches long, and an inch in diameter. It technically begins at the inferior edge of the larynx (aka "voice-box") and continues down toward the lungs. At the inferior end of the trachea it bifurcates, or divides, into two slightly smaller tubes known as bronchi. The primary bronchi each divide into "secondary bronchi." On the right side, the primary bronchus (the term for a single bronchi), divides into a superior and an intermediate bronchus (secondary bronchi) before it enters into the right lung. On the left side, the primary bronchus enters the left lung, then divides into a superior and and inferior bronchus (secondary bronchi.)

air enters the mouth or nose into the nasal cavity, it passes the eppiglottis and larynx then it enters the trachea where it goes onto the bronchi which divide into bronchioles which divide into the Alveoli where gases co2 and o2 are echanged then back to the lungs and to the heart through the polmonary vein.
Air moves from the larynx into the bronchial tubes then enters the lungs and is filtered into oxygen and other components by the avioli. The oxygen goes to the blood, and the other molecules (nitrogen, argon,helium,hydrogen etc.) are breathed out.
