Learning to listen for God's voice is another lesson to be learned there. Elijah, the prophet, was another person who had to learn this lesson under different circumstances than Samuel.
one doesn't become a prophet he is chosen by god one can become a prophet by striving to reach certain hights of spirituality (not possible these days) but its adiffucult task and Samuel wasnt one of those
I was always under the impression that words like "toot" (תות), which means "berry" would be in the Bible. I searched for it and I cannot find it there, so it is not likely present. My inclination is to believe that this was a word taken from Arabic, since the word "toot" (توت) also means berry.
Ah, what a lovely question! Samuel from the Bible did indeed have children. He had two sons named Joel and Abijah. Just like in nature, families come in all shapes and sizes, bringing love and joy to our lives.
