Its best to use damp soil from your garden or store bought soil, but it will need to be changed monthly
if you have African land snails as pets you will no what they (your ones) like, every group of snails in a tank can share 1 peice of cuttle fish all you do is wash it and put it in the tank ontop of the mud and they will suck it to make there shell strong. BUT you need to wash it very well first or the gurms from it could cause them to die BUT you need to give them a bit or they WILL DIE ANYWAY.
Likely either snails or flatworms.
I used to have snails with my goldfish and they got along swimmingly!
No they can't. The millipede can give off a cyanide gas that can kill the snail. Unless it is in a very large, airy tank don't put them together.
they eat left over fish food on the bottom of the tank (if in tank)
hi there :) if your land snail is not eating try and get a heat mat it maybe because your snails are not warm enough. to put your heat mat on just stick it on the back of your tank. p.s hope your snail is ok :)
A person can use a tank for an African land snail for their bearded dragon. After an extended period of time, a person may be required to upgrade the tank depending on the size of the lizard.
No.I recommend alge eater fish.they really work hard. but the alge eater will leave dung.
Yes snails can live in a fish tank, and they can breed.
I would not recommend adding snails to any tank if you intend to have fish.
yes snails do have mothers. the mothers crawl to the top of the tank when they are pregnant and lay their eggs at the top of the tank above the water line.
what are you doing with lettuce and snails? and no they will be fine
