What do scouts do? Well, it really depends on the trip type.
My troop goes on a bunch of different kind of trips. We go to the Mountains and hike the peaks, we go canoeing and kayaking, we go to sand dunes and go "boogeyboarding", snow camping, and a bunch of other stuff. What you do really depends on the kind of trip.
Another thing is if you are backpacking or car camping. If you are backpacking, you can't carry many things that aren't necessary because everything you're carrying is on your back in a pack. Every ounce counts!!! If you're car camping, you can have much better food since the food can be refridgerated in a cooler. Also, you can play more games. Both are special in their own ways. I like backpacking better because of the views from the peaks and cliffs and valleys, but some people can't take the vigorous hiking.
so to answer you're question, it depends. :) it's always fun though...
