How much for a pure black German shepherd?

The color usually does not matter. It really depends on the training, how it is bred, the parents of the dog, etc. Specially trained German Shepherds can be thousands of dollars. A pet German shepherd could even sell for 50 bucks. It really depends on the quality of the dog. Now, if you just threw some random parents together the dog might still go for 200 bucks. It also depends on how reasonable the owner is.

What two dogs make a German Shepherd?

Dobermans were originally breed from German Pinschers, Rottweilers, Beauceron, Pinschers, Greyhounds, English GreayhoundsThe origin of the Doberman Pincher isn't completely traceable. It is thought that dobermans are bread from German Pinchers (very smart breed), German Herd Dogs, Great Danes, and Rottweilers. Of course without knowing for sure, there can be all kinds of combinations. I have 2 dobermans now, and have had 2 others (separate times) in the past. Through my personal research, I find these breeds to be most consistently mentioned in literature about dobermans. - also the breed has changed since it's arrival to America after WWII.

Is a White Shepherd still a German Shepherd?

Yes...and no. There are purebred, registered German Shepherds who happen to be white. However, under the AKC they are disqualified for showing in the breed ring. This led to a movement to create a separate breed called the White Shepherd (as opposed to the white German Shepherd) under the UKC (United Kennel Club). There was a period of time when a registered white German Shepherd could compete under either breed, but I believe they are now considered two separate breeds. Owners of white German Shepherds had to choose which they wanted their dog to be. Part of the reason for this split is not just about color. On average, White Shepherds have more of a traditional look than modern AKC show German Shepherds. White Shepherds have level backs and are not over angulated, going back to what the German Shepherd was in the 60's and 70's.

What does the German shepherd symbolize?

I get the joke- A Pun on His Holiness! After all we have the radio call sign Shepherd l,which has been in use many years, and Benedict XVi is of German origin, one might also argue-Blind faith- as German shepherds are frequently used as Seeing-Eye Dogs. Now, just dont take this out of context.

The German Shepherd have 3 signs in the face to make sure hes pure what are they?

I can honestly say that I have only heard of one way to tell if a German Shepherd is purebred. This feature has helped me in the long-run because I have been with a lot of Gernan Shepherds. You can always tell the German Shepherd is purebred if they have a bump on their snout. Both of my German Shepherds have that. Now I also have a German Shepherd/Belgian Tuevern mix. On her, she has no bump whatsoever. But, I know she would not have a bump because of her mutt-mix. But if I did not know her bloodlines, I would have figured that she is not purebred. I hope this was helpful. P.S. I know this is a very long answer, but I choose to go into detail so that if you need to pass on the information, you can, and be able to show why and how you know.
