Hindus can eat a variety of food, however, meat is kind of restricted. Vegetables are always better. All kinds of vegetables are fine! :) Meat is not totally banned, they still eat chicken or lamb. Totally avoid beef, and pork! Oh, and obviously things like rice, chappattis etc. Wheat stuff.....

(BTW: I know these things, because I am an Indian)

Hindus are not really allowed to eat meat but some Hindus do eat meat but most Hindu who eat meat do not eat cows meat because cow is sacred to Hindus
