What do I do when I receive a gift card unknown value and it is not activated I do not know where it was purchased as it was a gift nor do I know who gave it 1st card I used not activated Help?

You must find the receipt or else you will be out of luck.
There should be a toll free number on the card that you can call and ask them, but the above is probably true; without a receipt they will likely assume that the card was stolen and that's why it is not activated.
