Initially they will vary on the type of scout group they are.

It depends on which organization the girl is a member of. Some wear scout shirts with a scarf or neckerchief; some wear vests, sashes, tunics; some wear skirts and blouses; some wear a complete uniform.

To look for each organization, you can use the Related Links to go to the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), and look at each member country. Some have links to the web sites if the Girl Guide or Girl Scout organization has a web site.

Girl Scouts of Japan

Brownie Girl Scout Badges are a circle shape with a red border and a picture of the badge theme.

Junior Girl Scout Badges are a triangle shape with an orange border and a picture of the badge theme.

Senior Girl Scout Badges are a diamond shape with a green border and a picture of the badge theme.

Ranger Girl Scout Badges are a rectangle shape with a tan border with a simple drawing of the badge theme.
