The only equipment they carry - is a stab-vest (optional depending on which force) radio, notepad & pen, torch, and limited first aid kit. They are not authorised to carry CS spray, batons or truncheons.
Yes they do. They carry the X26
Depends on the regulations where you are. Many Special Police Officers DO have the same authority as city or county police officers, but for specialized areas. Some of them DO carry firearms.
A large source of frustration for police officers can be the lack of community support and understanding of their work. This could manifest as negative perceptions, criticism, and hostility towards law enforcement, making it difficult for officers to effectively carry out their duties and maintain public safety. Additionally, the bureaucratic nature of police work, including excessive paperwork and administrative tasks, can also be a significant source of frustration.
Yes, Japanese police are armed.
Off-duty police officers are allowed to carry guns at Disney World, as long as they follow the park's guidelines and regulations.
The same authority that enables them to carry firearms.
police officers can do whatever the hell they want, as can anyone else, as long as they dont get caught
It depends on the local department regulations. Locally to me, city officers carry a Sig 229, and county officers carry a Beretta 96D. Glock has a pretty large percentage of the market, as does Sig.
Police community relations are the relationships between the police force and people it polices. Community policing is where members of the community carry out police functions.

It depends on the locality. Locally to me, the city officers carry a Sig 229M, county officers carry a Beretta 96D, and state troopers carry a S&W Sigma (I think...it may have changed). Each department sets its own regulations and policies for what its officers carry. Glocks are pretty common. I believe Glock holds about 60 percent of the police market.
