Well depends what you mean, ancient Romans from the past would eat very much on how wealthy their family's were. an average ancient roman meal would be olives, olive oil. bread and butter. meat was also popular, especially pork and mutton. more exotic meats like flamingo would be served at banquets and festivals. if food could not be afforded by families, it would be provided by the roman government, only bread and butterthough.
