I know lots of Latin Americans who love cold drinks. Ever hear of a mojito? I've heard that Russian people don't like cold drinks. My Russian language teacher spent two years living in hot and dry Texas without adding ice cubes to his drinks! He argued that it compared to Americans adding pepper or salt to our beers. By the way, most Latin Americans do like cold drinks, if not all. That is what is known as a stereotype. It is no more true than saying that all black people love watermelon.
