Burrowing owls and African lions do not share the same environment. If would be unlikely that lions would eat one if they did, however.
Buffalo, being the great African Cape Buffalo and the Asian Water Buffalo (NOT the American Bison, which is not a true buffalo), eat primarily grass that grows on the savannah or in the wetlands that they wade in.
Like most frogs it eats insects but i have read that they eat small mammals no idea if thats true or not.
