Not all Teddy Bear Hamsters have red eyes. Most have black eyes, grow to be about five inches long, and will bite if not cared for gently. Teddy Bear Hamsters have a light brown or gold coat, and prefer to live alone.

Germany is often considered the country with the most teddy bears, as it is the birthplace of the teddy bear. The first teddy bear was created in Germany in the early 20th century, and the country has a rich tradition of teddy bear manufacturing. Cities like Nürnberg and Giengen are known for their teddy bear production and museums dedicated to this beloved toy, making Germany a central hub for teddy bear enthusiasts.
I would say that Dwarf hamsters are the meanest cuz it is proven that they bite the most. I would recommend a Syrian or Teddy Bear. They are the nicest

From experience of having numerous hamsters as pets, I have found that the black teddy bear hamster is least aggressive. Not to say they can't get aggressive, because like any animal it can be handled inappropriately by small children or irresponsible young people or adults which will cause the animal to loose the desire to be held altogether. There are many happy hamsters among the other breeds it just all depends on the animal itself.
They are completely pitch-black and are as cute as most hamsters. Usually they have a pink nose and white whiskers.
The two most popular types of hamsters commonly kept as pets are the Syrian hamster (also known as the golden hamster) and the dwarf hamster (which includes various species like Russian Campbell dwarf, Roborovski, and Chinese hamsters). These two types are popular due to their small size, cute appearance, and relatively easy care requirements.
