Since the name, Troodon, means "wounding tooth," we're thinking small animals: lizards, scurrying mammals, the occasional bird, perhaps a fish or three. It may have been omnivorous, like bears or swine (or people) but it wasn't specialized with the large grinding teeth you expect to find in strict vegetable-eaters.
