There is a huge cultural divide in Uzbekistan between the people who live in the cities of Samarkand and Tashkent and the remainder of country. In those cities, people live in European-Style Houses and apartments. Outside of those cities there exists a mix between European-style Houses and more traditional yurts (which are like large tents).
