No, a beluga whale is a Whale. Actually, belugas are somewhere in between. Bigger than most of the true dolphins (Delphinidae), they are smaller than most of the whales. Belugas are most closely related to narwhals (family Monodontidae)
Hello that is a good question you have there but the answer is ....... belugas whales live in the antarctic so they like the cold water.
Whales and Seals have a layer of fat under their skins which act as an insulator/prevent heat loss from their bodies
Oh, dude, beluga whales get their energy from eating a diet of fish, squid, and crustaceans. They're like the ultimate seafood lovers of the ocean. So, basically, they're just swimming around, chowing down on their favorite snacks to keep themselves energized. It's like they're living their best foodie life under the sea.
Whales keep air, and thus oxygen, in their lungs, not in their bellies
no it does not if you keep your distance and do not disturb the whales.
They cant keep Whales in captivity but if your talking about Killer Whales and other Whales like Balugas then yes they do.
If we humans keep hunting and killing the whales then they will be come extinct.
yes they do keep bodies in thhe basement.
I've been watching the Georgia aquarium beluga whales off of igoogle on live cam for the past couple weeks. I've noticed about the time it gets dark is when they sleep. However, keep in mind they only rest half of the brain at a time so they can still move and breathe. They need air about every 30mins depending on the whale actually, so if they were in deep sleep completely they would drown. If you ever get a chance to watch them, they are very entertaining and interesting in their behaviors. I hope this helped a little.
