Since easter is based on an ancient fertility celebration, symbols of which included eggs, bunnies/rabbits, baskets, crucifixes, long grasses, etc. I guess you could say bunnies have nothing to do with Jesus, because easter has nothing to do with Jesus. Passover and Jesus, yes. Easter and Jesus, no.
bunnies are a symbol of fertility, which encorporates them into Easter
I think you've got the categories mixed up.
The beginning of the new life when Jesus Rose from the dead
The god of the dust bunnies that lives in my couch. By the way, Jesus was black.
No. We do not celebrate any holiday but the Memorial of Christ's death because no where in the Bible does it speak of celebrating Jesus ressurection (or Easter). And today, Easter is not about Jesus. It's about eggs and bunnies--what does that have to do with Jesus?
Easter eggs represent Jesus' resurrection. Bunnies lay eggs therefore bunnies came to the picture of Easter
Bunnies. Bunnies. Bunnies.
Not normally, but any new life could be related to Easter as it celebrates Jesus coming back to life. Chicks and bunnies are just cute and everybody likes them! :)
