What else can I help you with?
How does the convex lens look like?
A convex lens curves outward, forming an elliptical shape.
Is a camera lens convex?
Yes it is a convex lens just like the one in your eye! A convex lens goes outwards but a concave lens goes inwards (like a cave). Simple! :-) xoxo
What does convex lens make you look like?
A convex lens can make objects appear larger and closer than they actually are. It can also correct nearsightedness by helping to focus light properly on the retina. However, when looking through a convex lens, images may appear slightly distorted or magnified.
What are two possibilities for an image formed by an convex lens?
a convex lens is thicker in the center then at the edges. A convex lens acts like a concave mirror, because it focuses rays of light.
What is a difference between a concave and convex lens?
A concave lens is a lens in which the ends are thicker than the middle, rather shaped like this ---> )( A convex lens is a lens in which the ends are thinner than the middle, shaped like the following ---> ()
What kind of lens does a projector use?
projector have concave or convex
What kind of microscope lens curve outwards and look like a sphere?
A convex lens curve outwards and has a shape similar to a portion of a sphere. This type of lens converges light rays to a focal point, making it suitable for magnifying objects in microscopes.
What do the lens do in the eye to help us see?
the lenses make objects look smaller than what they are so that people know what they look like.
What does convex lens look like?
A convex lens is thicker in the middle and thinner at the edges, causing light rays passing through it to converge at a focal point. This results in the image being magnified or focused. The shape of a convex lens is curved outward on both sides.
What is a convex and a concave lens?
CONCAVE LENS : lens that atleast possess one end inwards is called as concave lens. CONVEX LENS : lens that atleast possess one end outwards like the exterior of the sphere is called convex lens. According to the medical values convex lens are used for long sight vision problem and concave lens for short sight vision problems.
Type of image of convex lens?
a convex lens looks like an oval from the side. it can be used in the glasses of a long sighted person. i really should be doing my homework right now. i have been doing it since 11am and it is now 15.43pm.
What happens when you look through a convex lens?
When you look through a convex lens, close objects appear larger and farther away, while distant objects appear closer and smaller. This is due to the way the lens refracts light, causing it to converge and focus at a point behind the lens, creating a magnified or reduced image depending on the object's distance.
