they are all animals
Crows, buzzards, and hyenas are all scavenger animals that primarily feed on carrion, or dead animal carcasses. They play a crucial role in ecosystems by helping to clean up and recycle organic matter. Additionally, these animals have highly developed senses, such as keen eyesight and sense of smell, which help them locate food efficiently in their respective habitats.

hyenas and crows
Crows and buzzards are not the same; they belong to different families within the bird classification. Crows are part of the Corvidae family, known for their intelligence and adaptability, while buzzards belong to the Accipitridae family, which includes birds of prey. Crows are typically smaller, with a robust body and a distinctive cawing call, whereas buzzards are larger and have broad wings, often hunting for small mammals and birds. Their behaviors, habitats, and physical characteristics also differ significantly.
Hyenas, vultures and buzzards are scavengers of remains.
Hyenas and crows are not considered decomposers; they are scavengers. Hyenas primarily feed on carrion, breaking down and consuming dead animals, while crows also scavenge and eat a variety of organic materials, including carrion. Decomposers, such as bacteria and fungi, specifically break down dead organic matter into simpler substances, recycling nutrients back into the ecosystem. Though both hyenas and crows play important roles in the ecosystem, their function is more aligned with scavenging than decomposing.

The group name for buzzards (Common buzzards, Buteo buteo), (from two internet sources) is wake. Personally, I don't see the connection! There are a pair of nesting common buzzards near my Lancashire home (England). I often watch as they ride the thermals in slow unflapping circles. My attention is often drawn to their presence by their mewing call. So I think a group of buzzards should be a mew of buzzards!
SCAVENGERS are those who feed on the dead. But when sufficient amount of food is not available then any animal can feed on the dead carcasses of other animals ,who have died due to starvation. This may include the following: Hyenas, Vultures, Buzzards, Condors,Ravens, Foxes, Jackals,Snow Leopards. Even, Cheetahs and Pumas under extreme condiiotns!!!
There are many scavengers that live in the desert: Vultures or buzzards Crows and ravens Coyotes and foxes Hyenas Even such animals such as lions, cougars, bobcats, etc., will take advantage of a free meal.
Antelopes are a more common for hyenas
