This is a sign of diabetes or cushings disease, it may not be that tho, other illness could be going on. Is your pet leaking urine, spotting? constant wanting to go out? does breath smell like nail polish remover? Does you dog look a bit pot belled? Did vet do bloodwork last visit, i assume they did and test was negative, tho they do not always do bloodtests, easy way to check for diabetes is to go to walmart or pharmacy and buy Diastix or Ketodiastix these are urine dipsticks, they will change colors if blood glucose is high, they are about 10.00 for just the diastix.
