Flying foxes are actually another name for Fruit Bats...so it eats the same things that a fruit bat eats which is:
1. Flowers and nectar
2. Fruit such as Mangos, Guavas and Bananas
3.Native fruit
Remember if you have a horse then you have got to be careful of these bats as they can carry Hendra Virus. Although it is very unlikely still be careful.
