I stayed with a French family for three weeks. They had 3 kids. The kids eat the same as children here in America do, milk or Orange Juice and cereal for breakfast. Adults eat a little differently. They could eat eggs but French don't normally eat eggs for breakfast, they usually just use them for cooking or whatever. Their toasters are skinnier and longer so they can slice a long piece of a baguette (about 6 inches) and cut in half and then make toast with it. they will eat that with jam or butter. they may drink orange juice, esspresso, or tea from a bol. hope this answered your question.

tea is spelled 'thé' in French.
Well.... People in France drink tea usually in the evening. Around 6:00pm or 7:00pm. After dinner. It is the relaxation time for them.
In French, "tea" is masculine, so it is "le thé."
