It really depends on the guy. Most of us are more interested in our own gratification than our partner's pleasure, for starters. Then again, some guys like to be kept "on the brink" for as long as possible, some guys "like it rough," some guys like a lot of stroking, teasing and tickling. Given it's lack of context, I will be broad in my coverage and perhaps might hit on the aspect you did not specify in the question.
First "guys" can be teenagers or 20 something's on up to 50 or 60 somethings.
They all do different things during sex.
The younger guys fumble with technique , and confuse signals coming or not coming from his partner. He thinks too much about what he is doing.
The young man is already patting himself on the back mentally the minute intercourse occurs...and is thinking mostly about himself & his pleasure and not yours. He over exerts himself with "irrational exuberance" (thanks Alan G for that phrase) thinking nothing for his partners desire for prolonged pleasure...and quicker than 1 - 2 - 3 ski-doo and it's over !
Older Guys do different things.
Older Guys do things that take years of skill to develop......(mainly self control !)
From there all things are possible, at this stage a "guy" can or should be able to do what ever it is you want him to do.
You can always read about what guys do during sex, if your not old enough to read "Penthouse Forum's" then ask your mom to just pay attention to the next time she's at the supermarket checkout aisle...and the "COSMO" headlines will tell her all she need's to know to report back to you.
