Grasshoppers are green because it makes it more difficult for predators to see them in grass. Not all grasshoppers are green. Some are shades of brown..Others are yellow brown.

The barbs on the legs can prick you but they are not venomous in other words yes but they are like mousquito bites it might hurt a tiny Bit more (extra tiny)if you have very light skin. Your welcome
The function of the grasshoppers colon is to move the grasshoppers poop out of the grasshopper. The grasshoppers does not have pockets so the colon can also be used to carry things around like an ipod, phone, keys and grass. You know, grasshopper stuff. Crickets do not have colons nor do they poop. They exercise more than grasshoppers because of this. If they don't burn the food in their stomachs they will explode.
No that is not true grasshoppers appear all the time but in breeding season the aren't seen as much. if you have long grass at home or wherever you live you will be more than likely that there would be many many grasshoppers to be seen. From Princess Of The WORLD
Grasshoppers live mostly near low growing plants or swamps. Obviously, they were named after grass so they mainly live around plants because that's what they eat.
It's a possibility, but it is unlikely that the worms would be that far from the dirt. It's more likely if the grass was short and moist, but still not highly likely.
it is like a plant the more water the more it grow hence the name MOIST bread
Katydids are more closely related to crickets than to grasshoppers. See Link.
They eat plants and small insects and bugs.Wrong, they eat plants. They are strict herbivores, meaning they don't eat meat or other insects. They eat grass (grass-hoppers). They also eat many other plants like leaves.
Not intentionally. However when there are hoards of grasshoppers around and when some can't fly away in time, they will get eaten along with the grass that bison graze, especially if there is more than one bison grazing in the same area.
