Crabeater seals are called crabeater seals because of the way their teeth look.
Seals use their teeth for opening food items like for example, clams or look up their other crustacean food sources that have hard shells. Anyway seals usually have many different sets of teeth. And to add to that they are very sharp too.
They're white and fluffy, I think they're adorable! They have pitch black eyes, and a black nose, please do google:baby harp seal pics. I promise you'll think they're adorable too!
They look like seals that have big ears.
Harp seals have a huge fatening calle blubber. The blubber helps to keep them warm since they live in a very cold environment. When harp seals are born, they have a white fur coat. The fur coat camouflages into the snow to protect them from their enemies on land. They also have sharp eyes that can see clearly when they're underwater to look out for their enemies and also find their prey. Harp seals are also fast swimmers which once again helps them to escape from their predators.
