It depends on which memory we're talking about. On a computer, there are typically 2 types of 'memory' which are commonly addressed.
1. Hard Drive Memory
2. RAM Memory
Hard drive memory can by checked by going to My Computer, right clicking your C: drive, going into the properties menu, and viewing the remaining disk space.
The other memory, RAM, is probably what is causing the problem here. Download a program such as Speccy to view your RAM memory amount, and if its under 2GB you should consider upgrading.
Yes in short it is. A basic explanation of computer memory (or Random Access Memory or RAM) is the place where your computer stores things in the short term that don't need to be remembered (if they did need to be remembered they would be on the hard drive), the more Memory you have the more data can be stored in this space.
For a basic home computer, you would not need more than 1024MB of memory.
When you install more memory into a computer, the computer's memory level becomes higher
A computer needs memory to store data .
netbooks are made for checking email. you need power and memory
bcause of you my life has change!!
You need to be more specific, if you mean a phone, camera or games console style sandisk like memory card, then you need to find the files in My computer, or the mac equivilant
You cannot buy more memory for a processor. You can however buy memory for your computer. More memory means a faster computer, but suffers from diminishing returns.
Decide what type of hard drive or memory to add.
to store the information
The only memory cards you wouldn't need a reader for are ones you would never need to connect to a computer. By definition, memory cards need a reader to be connected to a computer.
