The common foodstuffs are... green, leafy vegetables (such as spinach), tomatoes, sliced carrot, cucumber, broccoli, apples, bananas (but not too much), grapes etc... you should also supplement their diet with powdered calcium - to help keep their bones strong. The cheapest form of powdered calcium - is a piece of cuttle-fish (the stuff that budgies & parakeets eat). It's far cheaper than buying tubs of powdered calcium. Simply use a sharp knife to scrape a little of the cuttlefish into the meal.
