if shoes were to be dis-continued we would have to go back to when people were walking around in no shoes again. playing in the olympics with no shoes running at school track day and your going to have to run in bare foot like back in the time when people had no shoes. people need to take shoes more for granted than running in the mud and messing up brand new shoes just to get new ones. people need to learn that shoes will go away if to much happens.
