Lions eat medium to large, grazing mammals that live in their areas. These include but are not limited to gazelle, antelope, zebra, wart hogs, wildebeest, hartebeest*, impala, eland*, and topi*.
*Large, gazelle-like animals.
In the evenings lions go out and hunt for their pray.
To rip open there pray
To rip open there pray
to hear their pray in the water
there the ones who hunt for pray the male lions dont you go to school.
the lions claws help them to grab their pray therefore they are now able to use their teeth to clamp around their preys neck suffocating their prey.
the kill their pray by pouncing on it then they bite into its neck and then it dies then they tear off the meat and eat it
I think its up to the lion, but in animal extinct they will probably blend in to catch there pray .
In zoos, keepers handling the lions would feed them themselves but in the wild lions would scavenge off other caucus or catch their own by hiding behind long grass and sneaking up behind their pray and jumping up and catching it at the last minute.
Heres one "two lions fighthing over a pray from hunger" ~by Ara ^~^
Lions have sharp claws to kill prey, sharp teeth to eat meat, whiskers to sense the surrounding area, and tan color to blend within their environment.the adaptation of a lion is that it hunts for its food and it has a body which hepls it to see if its pray is coming or not.
The primary adaptation that lions have is their color. They blend into the light brown grass, and the sand very well. The fact that they live in groups, called prides can also be considered an adaptation as most cats live in pairs, this allows the lions to hunt larger pray. This means that they don't have to hunt so often, and that is useful in a hot environment.
