But if you mean Manatees, they eat:

Manatee grass, turtle grass, sea grass, shoal grass, different species of algae. mangrove leaves, and red mangrove seedlings and all this is only in salt water. In fresh water they eat hidrilla vericillata, more algae, and water hyacinths. Manatees will haul themselves out of the water and eat grass. They will also eat leaves and acorns off of branches.

If you mean Mantis, they eat:

Praying mantises are strictly carnivorous insects. They are predators that primarily prey on other insects such as grasshoppers, blowflies, wasps, houseflies, moths, cockroaches, and Spiders. Additionally, it is not unheard of for a large praying mantis to eat small birds or reptiles.
